How can you NOT want to watch extreme pogo videos?
Aside from the epic bails, falls, fails, and injuries it’s just remarkable what people are doing to push this sport into the mainstream spotlight.
But pogo and mainstream in the same sentence.
Why not?
With some polish and technical discipline and judging, there are enough people interested it would seem to warrant this being a professionally-recognized sport. Many of the stunt pogo videos we find on YouTube have tens if not hundreds of thousands of views.
What Pogo Needs For Mainstream Appeal
Well, maybe we should ask you? What do you think pogo needs to be recognized as a competitive and professional sport?
There’s no denying it can be dangerous. You can’t deny the sheer talent and athleticism some of these young athletes possess. Plus, you have tribes gathering all over the U.S. and even teens in the UK pushing the extreme pogo sport well beyond its humble beginnings.
At the very least it’ll require us to post and share our pogo videos, commenting on each others work, and getting the word out about Pogopalooza.
But what else might we be missing? Share your two cents in the comments.
